Robin Tatlow-Lord

Robin Tatlow-Lord is an illustrator, animator and cartoonist with a great love of storytelling.

She works with pencils, ink, pens, acrylic and watercolor - as well as various digital illustration and coloring techniques. Drawing all her life, and dabbling in murals and portraiture before choosing illustration, Robin studied at Adelaide Central School of Art and the University of South Australia, with an exchange semester in northern Mexico. In 2013 she was fortunate to attend the Centre for Cartoon Studies' intensive Cartooning Summer School in Vermont, USA.

Robin has created comics, animation and picture book illustrations for clients, and in 2011 was awarded the Colin Thiele Scholarship for Creative Writing to develop her own children's stories - one of which was recently developed into an animated short funded by the Media Resource Centre. She also conducts lively kids' art workshops and public art projects.
